Zhouzhuang live-action show to mark 10th anniversary


The live-action performance Zhouzhuang in Four Seasons, a visual and musical extravaganza that promises to allow visitors to get to know Zhouzhuang in just one night, shall mark its 10th anniversary soon.

Featuring the romance between Shen Wansan, the first millionare in Jiangnan, the area south of the Yangtze River during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and his wife Lu Liniang, the show has been wildly popular since it was first staged in 2007 due to its incorporation of so many of the region's traditions and folk customs.

In a bid to celebrate the 10th anniversary, the show's latest season has included even more highlights, such as more scenes of the water town's daily life, which may bring audience unexpected surprises.

Starting in April 1, the show is staged every evening at 7-8 pm until November every year.

Tickets are only 150 yuan ($23) per person, 280 yuan for VIP seats, and can be bought from the ticket office next to the south of Xinpai Archway.
