Qingtuanzi (green glutinous rice cakes)

Qingtuanzi is a type of glutinous rice cake filled with sweetened bean paste, which is popular in Zhouzhuang. One of its prominent features is its green-dyed dough, which is made by mixing the juice extracted from the fresh grass in nearby fields. You can still smell the grassy fragrance as you bite into the tasty cakes.
